Destination College

In adherence to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation to cancel/postpone social gatherings of 50 or more,

we have decided to cancel all previously scheduled large, public events for Destination College Week 2020.

We continue to encourage College T-Shirt Day on Friday, May 1st,

which everyone in the community can participate in from the comfort of their homes!

SAN ANTONIO IS ONE OF THE TOP COLLEGE DESTINATIONS IN TEXAS, WITH MORE THAN 150,000 STUDENTS ENROLLED IN A VARIETY OF COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. EVERY YEAR SAN ANTONIO TAKES ONE WEEK IN THE SPRING TO CELEBRATE SAN ANTONIO AS BOTH A COLLEGE TOWN AND A COLLEGE-GOING TOWN WITH FREE EVENTS.

DESTINATION COLLEGE WEEK IS THAT WEEK!

How to Participate

Students, faculty, and members of the community are asked to show their college pride all day on Friday, May 1. We hope to see the city decked out in college gear to show students the importance of and support San Antonio has for higher education.
